I strongly agree with the Washington Post: the best place to buy travel souvenirs is…the local grocery store in another country! There you can pick up unique spices and spice blends; weird oils and balms; teas, soaps, and sauces; strange kitchen or bathroom devices; and delightful local candies. These products can be used for their intended purposes — or as decorative curiosities. And you’ll spend a fraction of what you would’ve spent in a tourist shop, market, or bazaar.
Michael and I are frequently offered travel-related products to review and recommend. We pass on most, but we recently agreed to try out something called the Evolution Pant — a men’s travel pant from Western Rise.
And what do you know? We loved them. The material felt a bit odd at first, but we’ve found them comfortable, utterly wrinkle-free (despite being stuffed into our bags), very compactible, and — incredibly — almost impossible to stain.
On a recent cruise to Alaska, Michael wore them both out to hike and for meals in the cruise ship dining room. In short, they’re very versatile.
Michael, our model for the Western Rise pants, is also wearing a Cotopaxi backpack, which we’ve previously recommended for your backpacking needs.

Worried that your nightly mouthguard or teeth retainer is not getting clean enough from brushing alone? Consider tablets for dentures-cleaning, like Polident, which specifically says it can be used for such things.
Also, always try to let your device dry completely after cleaning.
