I used to think that fantasy realms starting out as books got overrun by heedless travelers the minute they were made into movies. I relaxed this severe attitude slightly on beholding the little hobbit houses in Peter Jackson’s early LOTR movies but it mostly still holds. Thanks for the laugh in this journey through overtouristed fantasy destinations.
The sets are amazing. If I’d sat there contemplating those little doors long enough I’m pretty sure I’d have been hallucinating hobbits. Down side—crowds!
