Dear Brent: Wow! Your language is so descriptive and the imagery so vivid, it felt like I was right there with you for the Night of Horoom. As I was reading through the article, I kept thinking about, even if the most restrictive of places, the LGBTQIA+++ community continues, not only to exist, but to thrive and celebrate. We're quite a resilient group.
Sounds like an amazing experience. I felt like I was there with your story.
I can relate this to an experience I had in Rio de Janeiro at a samba troupe practice in a favela. The room was filled with mostly men (straight), but as the beat and music kept going, it and the sweltering heat made a homoerotic soup.
Hi Brent! Sounds like an exciting night! A little dancing, a little drinking, some danger, some romance, and a lot of fun! What more could one ask for? Thanks for sharing your adventure with us! Cheers! Christopher :-)
Wow. That sounds like an amazing party. Kind of similar to those that they have in Mexico City. It's really cool to learn about gay cultures across the world. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! And the community can be quite inspiring at times, can't it? 🙂🙂🙂
You guys are brave souls, and future historians will be glad to have your perspective on being gay Americans in Eastern Europe.
Thank you! 😍

That sounds very interesting!
Thanks Todd! Haha, sounds very interesting. So much of it really really is about the music. I don't think I understood that earlier in life...

You are very welcome. 🤩
Intense... and I love it. I felt like I was really there, as I’ve been so many times in my younger years. Thank you. This was great!
