DEBATE: Where Should We Go This Year?
In our latest online debate, we hash out...where should we nomad in 2022?! Plus, how do we decide where we travel, anyway?
Hey Michael!
So it’s time for another one of our regular online debates, but since we’ve been kind of depressing lately, I figure we should take on something a bit, uh, lighter.
Like: where should you and I nomad next? I mean, it’s now 2022, a whole new year, amirite?
I’m thinking maybe the desert planet of Tatooine or the swamp planet of Dagobah. Either one sounds better than planet Earth right now!
Oh, wait, the whole point of this debate was to not be depressing. I didn’t even make it four paragraphs!
Okay, so, let’s start again. It’s 2022. Time for a new year — and a new attitude.
You and I spent most of 2021 in Central and Eastern Europe, visiting Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Austria, and Czechia, before finally settling down here in Split, Croatia, for the winter.
And I love Eastern and Central Europe. Most of the area is not nearly as well-known as Western Europe, but it’s just as interesting and probably more beautiful — with fewer tourists …
