Wonderful story. Not only do I love Indian food, the offbeat location is right up my alley (accidental pun). I almost feel like flying to Hong Kong just to eat at this place!
This is what I call true “Customer Experience”—for years, I worked for a business unit with that name at a Fortune 100 company but let me tell you, just like all the catchy marketing phrases of Corporate America, the meaning of these two words never went pass the name—and, it is really not that hard to deliver, if you truly believe in it and sincerely working on delivering it.
I love everything about this essay: the ease, the joy and the genuine enthusiasm for good things for good people. Thank you so much
Why thank you! What a nice thing to say.
I'm hungry already. Guess I must go to Hong Kong after all!
Hehe. Honestly, except for this, we were underwhelmed. As you'll soon read! LOL
Amazing. Now I almost want to go to Hong Kong. Almost.
Heheh. Yes.
The world is indeed a better place for places, and people, like this. I’m gonna tell them you sent me.
Thank you!
I’m planning a trip with my brother to Hong Kong and will definitely have to visit!
nice!

haha the pun made me laugh though.
Another lovely story! (And now I'm very, very hungry.)
Heheh. My work is done here.
So true. I always remember the restaurant when it was more than just the basics. It's a rare thing! And those pictures of the food are killing me..
It seems like a lot of restaurants forget this.
Glad you didn't give up searching for the place! Sounds wonderful.
Mission accomplished for sure.
I really like your approach, as well. It’s easy to get exasperated, but you seemed to take it as an adventure rather than full-on annoyance.
Honestly sounds like my kinda place
i would agree!

Bravo to the owner(s)!
Totally agree. I do think the "personal touch" needs an actual person. But other than that, it's not that hard!
That sounds amazing, and an experience you will remember for a long time!
I think so too.
Mmmmmm. Looks like you were filled up with all sorts of goodness, edible and otherwise. So glad you found that gem.
thank you
So I guess that's another five-star review from you? 😀
Sounds like a lovely place to eat.
Did I review it? I think I did! But hey, I wrote this article, which is better, right?
Just our kind of place!
:-)
I will absolutely visit if I’m ever in Hong Kong! It sounds like such a wonderful place.
definitely go!
