Absolutely brilliant. That gay camera really knows how to shoot and the travelogue was outstanding. The magic hour really is magic. Bellisimo.

El Divo says such praise is of course his due. I say thank you!

I really enjoyed getting to know El Divo. I hope we hear more from him. A question if I may: are they worth seeing IN SPITE of the Rick Steves sweaty hoards? I swear by Rick's books but he's managed to, ahem, single handedly ruin some places.

Oh trust me, El Divo will not be denied, though his next appearance will be at Michael Takes Too Many Pictures.

As for the crowds, they can be awful. I would NEVER go in summer, but was bearable in October, especially if you go hiking above the towns.

Something tells me you are 2 straight guys trying to use the gay persona.

We've always been extremely bad gays.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 How can I prove my gay bonafides?

Hang your laundry out to dry and post a picture,.

I think El Divo and my grand cat Miss Marple (aka THE DIVA) should do a travelogue together. For only the right type of folks, you understand. But please be kind to Ed Sheeran. He can’t help that he’s blander than no name mayo. (We do in fact, have an Ed Sheeran free zone at work for the musical well being of my co workers) Divo ; love your photos! And do excuse the fashion faux pax of the photographer.

Sorry but El Divo says he works alone. And DEFINITELY not with animals or kids. 😎😎😎

She’s okay with that. She’s understanding of the need for high standards.

Thansk, El Divo, for the observant and tongue-in-cheek commentary and the stunning photos. So much fun and magic! Sorry you missed the gorgeous guys, and you want to be a little kinder to Michael. After all, where would you be , if he didn´t drag you around? This post made me laugh out loud - thank you! Fantastico!

El Divo says "Where would I be without, Michael? Probably working with Annie Liebowitz! And who are you to question El Divo? Honestly, the hubris of some people!"

Michael, on the other hand, says, "Grazie! Grazie!"

So I was already snort laughing at the title and subtitle. "El divo." 😂😂

What were you thinking dragging this bitch out of bed at sunrise? And enough with the laundry lines when there are hotties to be photographed!

Truly hilarious. Well done.

Fabulous post. Thanks for sharing these beauties with us. I like to think of Italy as my third home. After the UK where I was born, and New Zealand where I live, it's the place I have spent the most time (and the place that has a big piece of my heart). I love, love, love these images 🤎❤️🩷🧡💛💙

Thanks, Vicki! Italy is also one of my favorite places in the world!

I love the photos, I may make a painting of one of them. Cinque Tera was beautiful but ,when I was there in September a few years ago, amazingly crowded.

Michael Jensen's avatar

Thank you! Yeah, the crowds can be hellish. We were there in October and it was manageable.
