Ooooooo. So tense!!! Nice job setting the scene, creating tension, paving a way for the reader into some background of the main characters and letting us get to know them a bit already, all in the first chapter. I’m intrigued (and unsettled). Great work!

I read chapter 1, should say skimmed; very impressed. Not a young adult but a very old man, maybe starting my fourth childhood (forever young you know). Anyway went tp purchase, and ran into a personal choice block. I never shop Amazon, never have they destroyed the used book stores I once loved and shopped. My home city had them by the dozens. So I went to second choice: Barnes and Nobel; they only had ebook. I had a kindle gifted to me by a dear friend whose husband passed. Never could use it because I need the feel of the book and turning pages. Passed it on to someone who would enjoy it, younger of course. Brent can you solve my self created problem? Thanks Michael

You should be able to buy the print version through Barnes and Noble (or anywhere in the U.S., really, although you might have to special order it). But since it was just released, it can take a while to "spread" through the system. SOrry for the inconvenience!

If by "proud," you mean "nervous wreck," then yes! 😂🙂

Understandable, but it must feel great to release a new book after months or years of effort. Not much better than being an author who encourages readers to think and imagine.
