I loved this post. It brought back a lot of memories. I grew up and Southern California and I went to Disneyland every year on my birthday. I loved the American the Beautiful 360° movie type thing and I also loved the Adventure through Inner Space. So many memories. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the memories - and the new inspirations! I am absolutely terrified of roller coasters, bur conversely obsessed with “simulator” rides. My top 2 all time favourites were Back to the Future at Universal Studios, and “Body Wars” - the Florida Disney World equivalent of your shrinking experience that shrunk us down into a hypodermic needle and “injected” us into a human bloodstream to travel through the body. Being “pumped “ through the heart was exhilarating !
In Praise of Amusement Parks!

I love amusement parks too. Especially ones with roller coasters!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE amusement parks so much... I wish they weren't so damn expensive to get into/ get to here in the US... :(
