Oh goodness, been there done that! Including returning to the double check at the station...and being told the same thing - 'everything good'. And the running, and the packing,. The ONLY thing ever good after these events is the sheer relief and joy you have that you DID IT!! My husband is the early packer. I used to be the late packer. Now, no more.

My wife and I have one rule for travel days: Make it through the day without getting divorced. Sometimes it's a struggle to not break the rule :)
