On December 30, 2017, just over four years ago, Michael and I left Seattle to begin our lives as digital nomads.
We had absolutely no idea what the hell we were doing.
On one hand, it feels like the time has just flown by. On the other hand, so much has happened, and we’ve learned so much. These days, we even kinda sorta feel like we know what we’re doing.
Alas, one of the worst parts of nomading is that we’re almost always saying goodbye to friends old and new.
Sure enough, this week, we’ve had to say goodbye to two friends who had joined us in Split, Croatia, for some of the winter months — Vicki, a new friend, and Tyler, an old one.
In honor of Tyler’s departure, the three of us took a daytrip to the town of Omiš, just down the coast from Split. This time of the year, it couldn’t have been any sleepier.
