It’s the end of the year, so it’s time for thought-leaders like us to say something profound about the past twelve months.

But the news about the Omicron variant broke broke a few weeks ago, and I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that we’re about to enter the third year of this fricking pandemic.
So what’s my take on this past year? First, a quick recap for those just joining us.
You and I are digital nomads, but we started off the year holed up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for seven months where we had been waiting out the pandemic.
