The Italians Are Bad Drivers -- and Even Worse Parkers!

As part of our journey as digital nomads (folks who work online, so can live anywhere in the world), Brent and I recently spent a month living in Matera, Italy. And while there were many things we loved about living in southern Italy -- especially the incredibly friendly people, and the fascinating history -- there was one aspect of Italy that we found...lacking.

Italians are terrible drivers. I mean nutso. And don't even get me started on how they ride their motorcycles. As for their parking skills, well,  I'm pretty sure "crosswalk" is Italian for "Oh, look at that perfect parking spot!

By the way, plenty of Italians told us the same, so you accuse us of being culturally insensitive!

In case you don't believe me, here is some photographic proof we gathered walking the streets. And dodging cars.
