The Trees Have Eyes!

Am I the only who sees a rather eerie face in the trunk of this palm tree? It's like an ancient Polynesian god has inhabited the trunk!

The tree is located in the courtyard of our home for the winter of 2018: Roam Miami, a co-housing facility just across the Miami River from downtown Miami, about six blocks from Little Havana.

Speaking of images in trees in the courtyard, here's another one. How's this for an invasive species? This alien plant has acid for blood and implants its embryos in humans!
